*Slump!*

I'm thinking I need to get a second French Press. The one I had on my desk at OldJob is the one I use at home now, and I think that having another one (as well as some coffee, obviously) would keep me from raiding the vending machine for sugar water every day around this time.

It's for health reasons.

...seriously. Trying to avoid the high fructose corn syrup.

...

...

...

...I can quit any time I want I just don't want to right now ever!

Pre-coffee news

There's more soap what's been made. I think I may have spoken about these earlier, but now they're up on the site and ready for purchase.

First, we have Black Magic Woman, a soap based on one of my body scrub recipes. Coffee. Brown sugar. Baking cocoa. Oh yes.

The next two are soaps named for Led Zeppelin songs - Heartbreaker and Dancing Days. Trust me when I say they both smell incredible.

Shipping prices have gone up by 50 cents, as it's apparently $1.60 to send one bar of soap in a small envelope. Still, that's 10 cents you guys don't have to pay, and that's always nice.

I want to give 10 percent of my earnings from this and other online sales (including the books I'm selling on Amazon) to [info]jumpinjessflash for her breast cancer walk campaign. There's a link to her campaign on my links list, if you want to donate. And if you want to know what books I'm selling, let me know.

In other news, greed is winning out. Hopefully we can do something about it.

Fangirl stuff

This from [info]halcyon_shift

Hilarity is the video of Bittersweet wherein Apocalyptica, the lead singer of The Rasmus and the lead singer of HIM attempt to convince the world cellos are fantastically gothic with eighties effects and ouija boards. And hanging from the ceiling. Cello players. Hanging upside down on the ceiling. Did I mention the black eyes and efforts by both lead singers to out-prince of darkness each other in table sprawling and hair gel?

[info]teaandbitchery, we need this video. We need it. We need it like air and caffeine. How do you suppose we get it?

In other news, Celestial Seasonings Teahouse Chai Original Indian Spice is a fabulous and beautiful thing. In my perfect world, it would be the second beverage of choice behind coffee. I feel guilty, though, because I don't think it's fair trade. Where can I get some fair trade chai?
